Services

Responsibilities:

  • Provide services in client’s residence.

  • Supports client by providing light housekeeping and serving meals and snacks; running errands.

  • Transport and accompany patients to doctor’s office or to hospital.

  • Assists clients by providing personal services, such as: bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Notify agency of changing or unusual conditions to client’s health while at the home

  • Maintain clients care records and document provided services.

  • Provide companionship.

  • Recreational activities, such as assisting with a walk outdoors.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provided by agency or other opportunities.

  • Adhere to professional standards, professional care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.

  • Assist family members care for the client by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the client, cleanliness, and housekeeping.

  • Relay information to the next HHA/Caregiver on shift or to the office

  • Record accurate clock in/outs on Electronic Verification Visits system.
