Services
Responsibilities:
Provide services in client’s residence.
Supports client by providing light housekeeping and serving meals and snacks; running errands.
Transport and accompany patients to doctor’s office or to hospital.
Assists clients by providing personal services, such as: bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Notify agency of changing or unusual conditions to client’s health while at the home
Maintain clients care records and document provided services.
Provide companionship.
Recreational activities, such as assisting with a walk outdoors.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provided by agency or other opportunities.
Adhere to professional standards, professional care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Assist family members care for the client by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the client, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
Relay information to the next HHA/Caregiver on shift or to the office
Record accurate clock in/outs on Electronic Verification Visits system.
